Athlete of the Day: Mi’ky Wallace

It’s time to celebrate our Athlete of The Day!

Mi’ky Wallace, son of Sports Dad, Michael Wallace,  is our Athlete of the Day.

Tell us about Mi’kys achievement:

I nominate Mi’ky because he started off slow even though his team won their first tournament playing up. He didn’t really do that good and it carried over into his next week’s practice. His coaches got on him and told them what they expected and he flipped a switch. Having a great game on both sides of the ball even though the team they were playing both older and bigger he and his teammates played an excellent game.

Mi’ky had a near interception, 2 assisted tackles, 1 solo tackle, and a forced fumble. He then ran the ball 3 times for about 40 yards but his best play was a lead block on a run play that resulted in a touchdown for his team.

Tell us about a character trait Mi’ky has that you just adore:

Mi’ky is a natural leader and even though he is a little guy he has a huge heart. You can see him run down the field to congratulate a teammate who has just scored or pick a teammate up and encourage him to do better next time if he made a mistake.

Tell us one thing you want your athlete to know:

Have fun and do your best your family and friends are behind you and just love to watch you play and do your thing.

Congratulations, Mi’ky!
