Mikael Kingo, nominated by Coach, Vinny Malts, is our Athlete of the Day!

Tell us about Mikael’s achievement:

Mikael assists his mother with their http://www.theangelproject.ca/ project. They help to raise money for those in need of Complex Care. It’s amazing to see him juggle both his hockey life and charity life.

For Mikael’s 15th birthday, he sent out the above request.

Tell us about a character trait Mikael has that you admire:

You inspire me more than you may ever know!

Please READ what he wrote above and learn about who he chooses to be with his life.

I had the pleasure of teaming up with Mikael Kingo this past spring…I would support this incredible spirit on any team I am a part of.

These are the type of thoughtful actions I witness in our youth that inspire me to BELIEVE we have a better and stronger future ahead of us.

If THIS is what a 15 year old spirit is DOING for the world, then how can I help follow their LEAD.

You have such a unique perspective in this world Mikael…I feel so fortunate to have connected with you in this life my brother. Thank you for representing something bigger in the game.

Tell us one thing you want your athlete to know:

His courage to represent something bigger than himself…that is a rarity for a 15-year-old spirit!

If you are interested in learning more about The Angel Project or contributing to the purchase of new hockey pads for a deserving athlete, please contact him at Mikael@kingo.ca

Congrats, Mikael!
